Toronto's 3rd International Poetry Slam

Up From the Roots were founded in 1994 and have been largely responsible for flying the Spoken Word flag in Canada. They held their 1st International Poetry Slam in 2003 in which our very own Tuggs.t.a.r. took part to represent the U.K.

Dwayne Morgan has visited our shores and performed on numerous occasions and has recently released his fifth book entitled "The Making of a Man". He will be hosting the event.
